Event Diretide Will Return to Dota 2 End of 2020? Recently, information about one of the interesting events in Dota 2 will be brought back to Dota 2 players.
The event is Diretide, where the Dota 2 Diretide 2020 event data has been leaked and it appears that the game mode which is identical to Halloween and the most iconic in Dota 2 is back.
Previously on October 17, 2020, after the patch there was a redditor r / dota2 user / u / Chuchelllo found a file containing some information about ‘Diretide 2020’.

This code is for the post-game screen, which should display info about Diretide 2020 prizes. Since the layout file is missing and this code is not linked to the post-game screen, it doesn’t work properly. Diretide itself has not come out, but it is expected to come out soon.
In September, there were several other data that revealed that Diretide 2020 was in the works and in July 2020, Valve announced a Fall Call to Arms where they invited all the creators of the Dota 2 Workshop to make cosmetics for heroes with the theme of fall or Halloween.

In October 2013, Valve received a lot of criticism after they canceled the highly anticipated second annual event. After many blasphemies from the players which made many fans spamming “Volvo giff diretide” everywhere on the internet, Valve returned to holding the event for the second time. Since then, no Diretide event has raised expectations for a game mode release.
